GONE WITH THE WIND USICAL
American Civil War Romance
This story is about a lady who witness the passionate love of Scarlett O'Hara and Rhett Butler on stage. While the story itself takes place in the Southern part during the Civil War.
They put their confidence in the face of fate goes beyond the confines of tine and space.
This musical is based on a novel by Margaret Mitchell, first published in 1936. This story is set in Clayton County, Georgia, and Atlanta during American civil war and Reconstruction era. It depicts the struggles of young Scarlett the spoiled daughter of a well-to-do plantation owner, who must use every means at her disposal to claw her way out of the poverty she finds herself in after Sherman's March to the sea.
Gone with the wind was popular with American readers from the onset and was the top American fiction best seller in the year it was published and in 1937.
Margaret was imaginative in use of color symbolism, especially the color red and green, which surround Scarlet. Mitchell identified the primary theme as survival. She left the ending speculative for the reader.
This Korean version of musical stars a famous pop singer 'Sung -Woo Shin' as Rhett and 'Ji-Woo Lee' as Scsrlet, their performance was outstanding and complimentary.
Also the supporting actors did a traffic job too. All the cast were amazing performers.
Personally, I loved their costumes' style which was late 19th century southern States of America during the civil war and during the Reconstruction eras
