Emerson String Quartet

Emerson String Quartet

Thanks to the efforts of Chanhong Park, Sunmi and I had the opportunity to see a performance by the Emerson String Quartet at the Seongnam Arts Center in Yatap, Bundang on Friday, January 29. A short review is written below.
Watching this performance was a once-in-a-lifetime event. In addition, for many reasons, it was also an unforgettable event. Named after Ralph Waldo Emerson, the famous American philosopher and poet, this quartet played classical pieces beautifully for the entire evening. With Eugene Drucker on violin, Philip Setzer on violin, Lawrence Dutton on viola and Paul Watkins on cello, this amazing quartet played every piece in won such wonderful harmony that there wasn't a peep from anyone in the audience. The final piece was even played only with their fingers, no bows. With every note, every movement across the strings, it was not hard to see the pride and joy these four men felt. I known this was a once-in-a-lifetime event, but if I have a second chance to see them, I definitely would take advantage of it.
